which more likely wasnt a delay, but failure of their billing dpt to see payment on time. I dont really recall since its over a year and it was for an amount of $50 or so. It's good business practise though because I always have a "good word" to say when one of my 2k+ contacts asks me about them.Comment

This isnt spam - just a recomendation.
Ive been using www.rackforce.com for about 6 months and the service is great. I seriously never have to wait more than 60secs for a reply from support.
They have VPS and dedicated servers - the base price is for 1.5mbps but the upgrade is just $175 for 10mbps.
I even get a phonecall from 'Doris' my rep every so often just to make sure I am happy with them.Comment

Soul_rebel, I believe you had a virtual hosting account with us for a very long time. Also our virtual hosting is automated and the control panel is set to provide a 2 week grace period. I apologize if the system suspended your account earlier, this is not common practice.
We make sure all of our customers are satisifed with our service if they're not we always refund or help them migrate to a different host. We dont require long contracts and allow the customers to choose to stay with us because they are satisfied with the service.
Once again, I apologize to both of you if you've received sub-par service, I can only say that we'll work harder in the future to ensure that mistakes do not happen. I believe RCN have good services overall. However, they seem to have some glitches when it comes to billing and suspending accounts. If those were fixed there'd really not be much to complain about.Whitehat is for chumps

i had a virtual with them, was very happy, speed was great, but no longer needed it after the month, and support was awesome, i wasnt rebilled, maybe you should contact them before calling them scammers, many people host with them, and they are quite happy.Comment
