Would seriously suggest ya check browers and make sure the stuff works, - next, get an extra light bulb and try and give the model some cred.

It's not a security issue.

Whatever you're using even required a plug in for IE and I'm using the more recent version and the beta version. Same on both.

Here's a basic webmastering lesson: if something doesn't work, it's you. Even if it's Firefox, or IE, it's still you. Even if your site is compliant with every standard and code ever though up, it's still you. Until it works on every major browser and platform with every likely configuration, it's you.

if a few webmasters here are having problems, and keep in mind that webmasters are usually far more up to date on browsers and video than surfers are... then how many of your surfers do you think are having trouble? even 1% is too much to just piss away when you could fix it on your end

not many, I use the same setup on my webcam, been doing it 9 years, every problem that any member has brought to me has been fixed. thisis hte first time I have heard about problems with firefox and media player, the last time, long time ago, I tried firefox there was no issue. But I just downloaded and installed firefox and it does not work now, I am looking into it.
