GOP improves chances of taking back Senate
Republicans defended three of their four open Senate seats, held on to an endangered one and took a strong lead in a tight race, bolstering their chances of taking back control of the Senate. Meanwhile, incumbent Republican Jeb Bush held on to the governor's seat in Florida.
