Windows XP Text Cursor Became Block! HELP!

I just bought a new laptop.. Windows XP is running fine but I have this small prob or rather annoying thing going on with the text cursor..

When I'm typing Word or even Notepad.. The text cursor that is suppose to be just a vertical line is now looks like a block.. Anyone knows how to change this to the usual vertical text cursor?

This used to happen to me a lot when I was learning VB but I can't remember how you stop it, sorry..
