DivX and P2P software for Linux

Is there a Linux compatible DivX codec available slash player ? Also, are major P2P clients like Kazaa ported on Linux ?

I'm not up to date with what's going on in the open source world, can someone guide me perhaps ?

Divx4Linux is available at divx.com. There was a Kazaa client until Kazaa closed their protocol, but check out sourceforge.net for other options. One you should check out is XNap (http://xnap.sourceforge.net). Just search Sourceforge for "Kazaa", "eDonkey", etc.
