    Is There A Script Available to....

    link all the thumbs on a site to the join page... it would be a bitch to have to them all by hand

        Can't you use a simple find and replace? or all all the thumbs named completely different?

          Thats the problem... all the thumbs are all named differently

                      Maybe I am stupid, But when you open the html file in a browser, select all the images, and say LINK: www.whateverjoin.com ?

                          Actually that does work... it makes it alot quicker but I figured somebody would have a script to do this

                              UltraEdit's macro function does wonders on such 'pain in the ass' tasks. Takes couple of minutes to figure out how to prepare the macro to make it work fine, but in the long run it's a great time saver.

                                Rename the directory that the large pictures are in or remove the large pictures themselves if the thumbs and large images they link to are in the same directory.

                                Then set your .htaccess to load the join page

                                Simple and takes all of 3 minutes

                                ErrorDocument 404 /join.html (or whatever the joinpage name is)
