My bank guys doesnhahaha180;t understand what I mean. They try to sell me their 3rd party kind of billing which I donhahaha180;t need. All I need is an e-commerce merchant account, but they donhahaha180;t seem to know what that is.
Ithahaha180;s the ABN Amro - They just donhahaha180;t get it...
Strange, had no problems with them in the past....What EXACTLY do you want? You want to open a bank account for your business? Or you want to start accepting creditcard payments? If the last thing, ABN can't help you with that....
We allready have a bank account with them and want to start accepting credit card payments on a shopwebsite. We currently use a third pary biller but would rather like to use an own merchant account to process our charges.

Thanks for your help man
Got ya, they can not simply accept creditcards for you.
http://www.vxsbill.com/ for example can handle this for you. They let ytou sign some papers(interpay etc) and you will get your money daily on your ABN business account. You do need a merchant account, but I think the merchant account is requested at interpay or ics and not at your 'local' bank.
You can send them an email, and ask for the fastest way to setup a merchant account.
Good luck
(some info I gave might be wrong, but in general it should be correct)
ICS handles all cred card transactions in the netherlands, thats interpay yes (International Card Services), ABN cant process, theyll outsource this to ICS as well.
They supply all kinda stuff like ATM terminals etc, just lookup ICS Amsterdam
