You could save your time by letting me design graphics/paysites/avs-sites/free-sites or make galleries for you. That way you can spend your time on other important jobs. I have a good asthetic sense and I do it for fun, so i could work for half as much money as professionals do.
I'm a newbie webmaster from Pakistan, and run some (6) AVS sites (Indian Niche) and design banners/paysite-tours for some Indian Webmasters. I am using the few hundred dollars I generate each month, for my studies, and would like to carry on and complete my degree.

Sir, I wouldnt want to work with you either, but Pakistan is not in or near the middle east. You may be better than me at websites, but you need to join a geography-bbs as a newbie.

they are being serious, your work really isn't that good, you want to know why the designers here are angry, it's because there's been numerous ppl coming in here and offering bad work at low prices, the professionals should be mad, you steal thier work then the costomer gets pissed of and doesn't trust another designer, need i remind people of tennisace????????

You have to adjust to the frankness of some of these guys here sir. Believe it or not, they are a very talented bunch...you can verify that by looking in the archives at the last site design they had. Pretty awesome.

Don't get defensive, browse the net alot and look at what other premium AVS sites are doing and sit down with some graphics programs and see if you can duplicate it.

Then, adapt your ideas to your particular taste, you need.

1. Photoshop (don't resize the pics in the opposite direction they should be resize...ie a 90x150 pic can't become a 150x100 pic, you have some of that on your sites.)

2. Procreate Knockout...will give you alot cleaner masking, it appears you are using the mafnetic lasso in some graphics program.

3. Adobe Illustrator, or Corel Draw

4. I like Ulead GIF animator, some guys might not agree with that.

5. A code validator that will help you make your code alot cleaner. CSE code Validator is free and works prety well.

6. Take some time and learn CSS a bit better, it will really help out some positioning issues you have.

AMP is right, you are not there yet, but with practice there is no reason you couldn't be. Oh, and Go Fuck Yourself.

His work does suck, and he needs to know it. I don't go around frivolously insulting newbies, but this guys graphics are truly hideous.

If he was just doing it for himself, then I agree - do what you want to the best of your abilities and be happy with it. But he is trying to sell it, and no one in their right mind is going to pay 2 cents for a "design" like that.

There are lots of online graphics courses you can take in Fireworks, Photoshop and the like. You can get either program for free if you know where to look. Learn them, use them.

Here is something to do. Instead of getting angry at Amp, click on his button and take a look at a couple of his designs. Most guys who design AVS sites & galleries aren't as good as that, but quite a few - at least in my experience - are close. Thats your competition. When you can do something reasonably close to that at a decent price, come back.
