ccbill issues?

I just got hit with 2 refunds and 2 charge backs on two diffrent ccbill sites on the same day.

The first two was from a sign up on 06 Jan 2006 which rebilled two times and was given two refunds. One for -$14.94 and one for -$12.44.

The second was from a sign up on 30 Nov 2005 which rebilled in 30 Dec 2005 and is now two chage backs, both for -$9.97.

Now all of a sudden their system is fast as hell.. Could this be some sort of issue? I very rarely ever get chargebacks and I find it very strange that I'd get hit with 4 from two totally diffrent dates on the same day. Anyone else seeing anything like this?

I'd given up on stats, since their "big Improvements" to the click reporting..rarely check them now

I wouldn't worry about the refunds..they maybe from the same person. The CB's are a different story and something to worry about; also ccbill is open 24-7 and could be more helpful than a post. Just my Good luck.

Well the two refunds were from bounced checks it seems (kinda funny that someone who bounces a check is allowed to rebill)

There was no reason given for the two charge backs. I just find it pretty strange that the refunds were done at 7:08pm yesterday and the chargebacks were done at 7:13pm and 7:14pm that same day. So all 4 were within 10 mins of each other.

Yea I know.. I just found it very strange being I rarely ever get them.. Then I also noticed the CCbill admin was about 50 times faster than usual. So I figured it might be some glitch which is why I posted here. I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue.

If it's a trial then it's possible to rebill before the cheque comes back as bogus...

netbilling had something set up, or was setting something up, quite a long time ago that instantly checked to see if there was enough funds in the checking account before accepting the transaction. I'm surprised something like that isn't being used for membership transactions.

It's called the StarCheck system and it only works on about 40% of checking accounts. Most ACH processors use it but it's reach is limited.
