Affiliate Program?

I'm kind of new at this, my site isn't ready yet, but how would I go about setting up an affiliate program on my site. Do I have to set that up, or are there companies who can help me. I'm ok with a rev share program of 50% For a new start-up I understand this is the best way to get traffic and conversions. Please help.

Not to state the obvious. Affiliate programs do not help conversions.

I also will now let everyone else tell you how insane you are in regards to even thinking about an affiliat program without a working site at all yet and so on.

Conversions come with a quality design that shows off superior content, hopefully in a unique or compelling way if at all possible.

Traffic is something you really should already have before you attempt to launch a paysite. This allows you to test those conversions and tweak things before you dare ask webmasters "affiliates" to invest their traffic with you.
In the event you do not have your own traffic you could always buy it, or alas launch yet another affiliate program that hasn't a clue about how anything works and hope and pray that people are still gullible enough to try it.

Reality check: nobody would promote a paysite from a newbie paying 50% revshare.
