CD burning help

I am having problems burning CDs lately. I am not sure if it is Nero or my burner. The CDs I burn play fine usually for the first ten songs then after that the songs become garbled or the disc wont even play in a CD player. What does this sound like to you?

The MP3s are all good and the CD-rs are Maxell.

"Lately". That must be your magic answer. If you didn't change anything. Why not try another software just to be sure? If not, It must be your CD burner.
