I'm not an expert, but I slept at a Holiday Inn last night...

Value is in the eye of the beholder.

is the domain-name relevant to the .tv world on and offline

I have no idea what the potential typo value of something like that is.

      Does it have traffic

      Is it established

      Have backlinks

      etc?

If you can brand them well but nothing is as good as a dot com. I just got back from Paris and even some companies over there often use dot com over the '.fr' domains.

Depends on the use. Not great for PPC. If you catch a good one like Porn.tv for example and develop it you'll create value. Its got to make sense though as related to .tv.

Interesting to note the highest price ever for a .info this week happened with Camping.info selling for $28,100.

So some of these extensions are catching on, but its only a select group that are marketable for significant dollars.
