    Exit Link Tracking

I posted a thread earlier about a good robust web based stat site that would provide comprehensive info.

What I would need is an exit link tracker to monitor ads, as well as web sites that I swap traffic with.

I have Add Free Stats, but the Adsense tracker is intermittent at best in displaying these stats, or not at all.

I have a custom built script, but had to dis-engage it due to a heavy load on my system.

I have about 1-1.5 million PV a week, and need a site that handle would this traffic, and be inexpensive.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks kids!

Can't you buy a trade script for that? With a build in GEO IP system, you can even target the exits country wise.

ATX is a great one...and 1mil a week is not a problem at all for the script
      Questions?

you can use google analytics to track exit links... just ad this bit of javascript to your outbound links...

        Code:
        onClick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/name/of/your/link');"
what I do is then give it a name like /affil_program/tour and /affil_program/join and /affil_program/join2 etc....

then when someone clicks an outbound link, it will show up in your analytics report as the link you specified in the java script...

You can customize this as much as you want to keep track of where the link was and where its going, etc...

Analytics does have its downside though.. Personally I think it takes far to long to report, but for a free program, it is top notch.

We're getting ready to start testing webtrends and our stats program... I'm not sure how much better it will be, but it does give real time stats which is a big plus. The downside? It needs it's own server and is windows based....

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I have CJ, but unfortunately, it will not record stats due to my server config.

I had FORGOTTEN about Analytics. Great idea! I have to check out my acct. for more info.

You are all the best! Thanks for helping out.
