Mrs. Redshoe said that when she was growing up right in Oluwalu a lady went into the ocean... while she was having her period. The lady was eaten by a shark.

Fuck that women (not literally!). Let the shark eat the rest of her. 6 billion humans growing while the shark population diminishes. I think we owe them something
Lots of box jellyfish in my area today. Don't wanna get stung by those buggers!<font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Verdana">This thread will self-destruct in 5 seconds.</font><font color="#FFFFFF" face="Verdana"><br>

you walk across the street, across the beach, and into the water..... you're in open ocean bro.... and once you're in there, you're no longer at the top of the food chain.

I think I fear getting stung by a jellyfish more than getting eaten by a shark. I'm not saying a shark wouldn't kill me, I'm just saying a jellyfish attack is a lot more likely in just about any ocean stretch you stick a toe in.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

Sharks ARE fish.
I still have a house in Daytona Beach, FL and I love to surf. Volusia county, FL leads the WORLD in shark bites every year...most of them at Ponce Inlet and right across the inlet at New Smyrna Beach. Still, it's the best place to surf in that area so I still do it. You will frequently get bumped by sharks but that's just a part of it. It doesn't make you real comfortable but the odds of actaually getting bitten are pretty rare...unless you step off and onto their head...then it's fairly guaranteed.
Last year I was SCUBA diving in the Bahamas. On the second dive of the first day, I was followed for about a minute by a 9' Bull Shark. I was absolutely shitting myself...never been so scared in my life. Then on the third dive that day I did the shark dive through Xanadu. It was then that I realized that the shark wasn't looking at me AS food...he was checking to see if I HAD food
