Ok, here is what I have. 8 movies, on DVD. I'll send you the mpeg2 on dvd. (The raw mpeg2 you can copy off).
The movies are about an hour long (from about 50 to 70 minutes), most under 60. I'd like you to break each movie into around 10 parts, and convert to either .wmv, .rm, or .mpeg (I'm leaning towards .wmv - it seems to give a little smaller size for the same resolution).
To make it even more complex, I am thinking of doing TWO resolutions, i.e., a smaller one for 56K users and a medium one for cable/dsl.
Then you would take all the clips (say 10 times 2 =20) and grab the first frame off of each one, and construct a nice little web page with thumbnails for all the downloadable movies.
In other, words, you are building my members section.
Figure 8 movies now, and about 1 a month or so after. So I am looking for a long term thing. You can return the movies at my expense on CD or DVD or possibly upload to my server, since they won't be nearly as huge as the original mpeg2 which range from about 1.5 to 3.5 gig.
I'm looking for someone fairly reasonable, as you are bidding against me doing it myself and getting it for free, but I really don't have the time. I'm also looking for somebody dependable who I can trust with this.
