Well the existing script is coded in fastcgi, uses mysql databases, database are kept in memory and dumped to the hard drive every few secs. It handles extrememly high traffic volumes, 10 times C using flat text or binary. I need someone who is familiar with this sort of system, not someone who can "learn" it. My guys can learn it I just don't have the time for them to do this.
