The new design LOOKS better, but I think the old design had more bot food on it. The only way you can tell is check your traffic and check your bank account.

I don't like that at all. I think, that you should concentrate on the orgininal layout, interesting thumbs arrangement and presentation and other stuff like that. So I like your older site more as that little mess there got my attention and I stayed there for a while. Your new site is similar to 1000s of TGPs... boring.
