Dialer question

Ahem... Don't mean to sound like a retard, although I am one, but how does the dialer biz work? I mean, most webmasters using dialers get paid around $0.75/minute tops, while the service actually costs $5/minute and more. Who's getting ripped off here, besides the surfer/jerker?

ok let me see if I can help here...... been over this before but I will try again.

From that $5 a monute the phone bill has to be paid, then the people who make the dialer.......... IE Niteline, GIB, DialerKing, Varadox....... then the resellers and then the webmasters...... the pieces get smaller as they go down the line obviously.

But also in this you are looking at chargebacks, which are very high, and SOMEONE has to pay it....... this bieng the Dialer Company itself so that resellers and webmasters don't have to take the bite for this......... The dialer companies eat this one totally......

I can assure you that only the surfer is getting ripped off as you say...... but if they know what they are doing before they go in and get ripped then.... oh well..........

That is a little of the breakdown without giving you every single cent that is going to who where and how........ that would take me a week to get straight. LOL

Thanks Tam, you pretty much straightened it out for me. Only one other question, though: the people who make the dialer, don't they charge a one-time fee for actually making it or is it like you're leasing it from them?

Well ok........ umm......... we make our own dialers and we do pay programmers, so there is yet another expense..... we don't lease them or anything like that.... I guess some might, but we don't, we just pay a programmer and he makes them for us.... This cuts some of the costs down and allows us to give higher rates than some other places do. We have on staff all of the people we need which cuts down some of these things. In other words, we have a staff of people we pay in house. lol

AND ITS NOT 75 a minute its 75 for usa only.. Read the fine print some countries you only get paid 3 cents...so your total comes out to 35 to 45 cents...

Thats why I pay flat its easier for me.

We have some countries we pay alot higher rates on than others yes, and for resellers some are pretty damn high..........

Some people prefer a flat rate and some prefer a per country....... In my opinion it all depends on the site you run and what type of traffic you get the most of........ if you run a site that is mostly from one of the higher paying countries then obviously you want to use a dialer that pays out higher rates for those countries...... if you run a site that gets more of the lower paying countries then you will want a flat rate....... both types have their advantages and disadvantages........ it ALL depends on your sites and your traffic........

Just do as Snow and I preach so much, THIS we both agree on and always have........ find the one that works best for YOUR needs.

alot of the flat rate guy pay 35-37 flat but you take them 2000 turkey minutes and watch how much you make it wont be 35 flat i can promise you that

The Jesus Dialer is the best by far.. Im doing about 60% more USA minutes with Jesus than with any other dialer..

It has the best connection like the good old days.

Son of Rage spent the weekend at my house. He is having some emotional problems. He is lost between chronic pot smoking, and loving Jesus. (no fucking joke)

I finally kicked him out of my house today after him telling me I was going to hell for not believing in God. It's just not somthing you like to hear from sombody who has been leaching off of you for the past couple days.
I took his shit for way too long and had enough.

He left for home on his motorcycle stoned as a mother fucker. That was about noon today. Not sure what's up with that guy.
