Make screencaps look prettier

How do I make the screencaps I take from videos look prettier? Any tips?

dont use cheap software and dont save them as .gif lol

I use Progressive mode when I shoot, then Preimere, then Photoshop.

Capture at a high res, then photoshop the image to a smaller res, auto contrast. Usually gives me a v. nice capture.
