...since cologroup has gone apeshit!

I've had it with those amateurs! they can't even keep my domain for galleries online! And the guy who does maintaincence on the server i'm hosted on hasn't replied to my support requests for TWO WEEKS! and since he apparently is a co-owner of the company, he has decided that no other technicians may access it..

So, if anyone could suggest another host, with about the same pricing ($0,50/gb) that actually works, that would be great!

Lets see, I have tried using the phone, icq, trouble ticket system and e-mail.. all my domains are down and has been so far to long! The only support guy i can get a hold of tells me that he is not allowed to access the server i'm hosted on. Damn this sucks!

Maybe you should try getting a dedicated server.
I've been hosting with them for 5 months and only
have had 2 downtimes that didn't last longer than 5
minutes. Those were like 5 months ago when they
were tweaking the server. Since, its been 100% uptime
for the past 3 months plus great customer support that takes
care of problems within the day!

There are enough host's out there that want your buisness to not put up with this shit. I don't care who the host is there are alternatives. Look around and open your eyes.

I have no experience with cologroup. When I met Jason at Aimee's birthday in San Diego he seemed a "good" guy. Other than that I have no preference to his business practices.

They have a guy named Andre who is great! always answer my icq msg's quickly and everything, but lately Myles has decided that no one except him may mess with the box i'm hosted on, and Myles don't respond to my msg's nor fix the problems...

Right now all my domains has been down for 5+ hrs (perhaps more, it was down 5hrs ago when i woke up so who knows, might have been down all night?), I've tried every way to contact cologroup about this, including telephone, there 'live support' service, trouble ticket, icq to both Jason and Myles.. All without any response what so ever.. Further i've been trying to reach Myles for more than 2 weeks since there are some serious troubles with my permissions. No response.

During the time i have been hosted with cologroup i have suffered large amounts of downtime, server overloads, none responding support, redirection of all my traffic to some other page (i'm not kidding) and a whole bunch of other shit like that. I have probably opened more than 20-30 support tickets during the months they have been hosting me, and sent numerous icq-complaint. It has actually gotten to that point when i'm embarrassed to tell 'em that there stuff isn't working.
If you have had only good experience with 'em, congrats!
yes, perhaps it's because i'm on virtual, but with the small amount of traffic i'm pushing right now, it's not worth going dedicated.

So perhaps you can understand that i'm pretty fed up with this shit and intend to find a new hosting company as soon as possible.

Andre, from Cologroup, is great. Very nice, quick, and knows what he's doing. Every experience I've had with Myles has been "ok", so no major complaints there. But, I've always had trouble getting through with telephone support. Have experienced more downtime than I'm happy with. The DNS on one of my sites is totally fucked up, sent a message to Jason at one time but didn't hear back. Another time, my DNS was so fucked up, yet nobody seemed to know what they were doing.

I've decided to switch to Phat Servers, probably ordering my account Friday... thanks for all your help Moose.
