Anyone know where I will get a scipt like the myspace site .. preferably for free, although dont mind spending a little on it, as long as it comes with the support to get it running right and free future upgrades

A lot of folks are looking for that kind of script. I am in the market as well, but will most likely have one custom coded as I want some special features. It will be for http://www.pennzone.com an online community I am building for Pa residents, a bit contraversial even. Wait til you see what I am doing with it haha.

every time i buy something .. not long after another one pops up thats better and free

so before i pay cash, i want to try the free one ... be nice to have it both ways for a change

I am having one made for me right now. I searched and searched for one I could customize and work with but most weren't easy to make fit into what I need.
I can let you know how mine turns out. It should be finished up shortly.

As for what x p e e p s is using I had asked them where they got that program and they said they wrote the whole thing themselves but it couldn't have been any more of a copy of MYSPACE if they tried. The layout, the links, the features, the setup across the board it's a complete copy of their program.
