Tips needed for Phoenix noobs

Please offer some creative (and useful) tips for a Phoenix noob. Ideas on getting the most from the conference, what is best to see, do, drink, eat... Where the best late nite gatherings are....(and how to get in!) etc etc.... Who a noob should meet and not meet (this should be controversial!)...

Drink loads of water, wear sunscreen and don't be afraid to say hi and ask people if you can join them at one of the tables during the meals. Meet everyone you can and sort out who is worth meeting twice later on.

Oh and if they have the chocolate fountain again make sure to hang around it a bit becaue it was the great leveler and a place to meet everyone from all levels that are just fascinated by the notion of flowing chocolate.

ccbill has these great munchies stations. pretty much a 7-11 with no cashier. they call it a munchies station for a reason. lots of snacks in there.

Do not be an ass.
Do not get drunk/stoned/etc or so sloshed you become an ass or are useless.
Do not fondle models, nor follow them around everywhere.
Have business cards with your contact info on them and what you do.
Collect other peoples cards and actually follow through with post show contacting.
Introduce yourself to everyone, only a few bite or are assholes.

keep your cards in the back bit of your name badge..just easier than having to hold them or dig them out of your pocket every time. It is also a good place to keep the cards other people give you. Just clean it out at the end of the day and add more of yours.

go up to people you know to be big timers, and repeat:

"I am a noob oh lord, (bow at this point) may i fetch you something from the snack shack". lol.
Dude phx is the easiest place once you find the aforemetioned shack. say hi to people, "hi am (noobname here) and let it roll. phx is awesome, events are tightly scheduled and not too many and the town of tempe is killer. if you need to know about the special touch the dancer lapdance festivals, find me. I am the fabio lookin mfer. see pic below. oh yeah and after gettin too much sun don't put on some dumb lotion, i learned that last year as a noob.
