    XP Desktop Help

    i got some bitch ass spyware today - had to remove from the registry the ActiveDesktop branch - now the captions under my desktop icons have a fugly black background instead of being transparent - nothing in Control Panel -Display fixes it

    any ideas?

    I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

      Right Click on Desktop > Properties > Appearence.

      From there switch everything back to Defalut and try that.

      Edit - Or under the themes tab choose Windows XP.

                          Right click My Computer
                          Click Advanced Tab
                          Click 'Settings' button under Performance
                          Under 'Visual Effecs' check the box that says "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop"
