Recommend me a good click tracking script

I don't need to manage ads or rotate them, I just need to learn the surfer's behavior and know wich links they are clicking on plain .html pages (hardlinks). This script should have a secure control panel or a stats area where I can login to see click totals etc, and it should not produce funky links on the status bar when you mouseover the links.

Does such script exist?

Thanks for the offer, but I would rather see other alternatives first. Hell I just want simple click tracking maybe there's even free scripts out there with more features than I need.
