CMS sites

Does any one use a CMS like mambo or phpnuke for tgp/mgp's instead of comus thumbs or autogallery?

i use phpnuke on one of my sites but it's more of a blog than a TGP..

I would have thought that using one of those programs on a tgp or mgp would use a lot of resources on the server, we have used them for members areas in the past and found in some cases they were finding it hard to handle the traffic from that.

jmbsoft.com also do tgp/mgp scripts
