i think you have to contact verisign to change the key.

Just have your new host install your key onto the server and you're all set.

Make sure you have copies of both the certificate AND the private key.
If you don't get the private key, you'll need it re-issuing which may cost.

Then your new host should be able to install it from the key and certificate.
