    Pixel remapping...anyone?

Curious whether anyone here does pixel remapping on their digicams on a regular basis. If so, do you find it helps repair hot/dead pixels on the array?

Its a function where the pixels on the sensor array are remapped in the camera to eliminate dead/stuck/hot pixels. When I had my e10 rebuilt a while back I had them install a firmware upgrade that adds the remapping function.
