goodgirl is having the same problem and discovered she has a memory virus. You might want to check, this is what I know so far:

her (12:16:19 PM): found a bunch of files on my computer I never downloaded. Went to the directory it says it is in, I don't see that either.
her (12:17:20 PM): it was a hidden folder
her (12:17:36 PM): C:\Documents and Settings\Tanya\Complete
her (12:18:47 PM): files like war of the worlds, ulead gif animator, winzip, nortons anti virus, photoshop, paint shop pro nero, nortons ghost, etc.

her (12:19:07 PM): all the same size too
