i am going away for thanksgiving but after i get back i plan to pick up a turkey at the store and try to make a beerbutt turkey similar to our normal beercan/beerbutt chicken)

lots of fresh herbs and olive oil under the skin, ought to be interesting if it works

but as a southerner, gotta agree, fried turkey is the best
