Bounced Check

A check from a well known sponsor (they advertise here, I can even see their ad as I type) bounced. I'll give them some time to get back to me.

This is the second check I've gotten from a sponsor that bounced. How many have people gotten and from who?

Was it truly a bounced check or perhaps a stale check? They may also have changed banks - that happens.

2 if I remember correctly. Both from maximumcash when they had their problems with FTC...

Costed around $50 for me. It was nothing considering the amounts on my checks, but it was their fault and I told them to pay. When they asked for proof I switched all my traffic and haven't sent them one hit since that day.

Turned out to be good since I got almost 20% more sales after that with the new sponsor I switched to back then.

Nowdays I only use wiretransfers, paypal and epassporte.

I didn't thought many people still used to get payed by check. Why not wire transfer? Much faster and safer...

Sometimes banks makes errors or they have seperate accounts a main one and then a payout account and they didn't fund the payout account and there is plenty of money in the main account. Then again could be dead broke as well.

As I said, "I'll give them some time to get back to me", meaning I've already contacted them. As for starting this thread, it isn't about them. I'm curious to see how many bounced checks people have gotten.

I get them once in a while. It is almost always an error. When they do not send the check I get nervous.

I would think bounced checks are generally a mistake.. if a company is really broke I dunno why they'd bother sending checks they knew were no good as opposed to just not sending anything.

We recently changed check cutters and expected a handfull of straglling checks in the mess. We tried to make sure all affiliates were aware in the weekly newsletter and forum. But I can't be *too* hurt that you don't read my newsletter. (insert fake tantrum here.)

Although, we have been including more tassy pics in the newslteers lately.

If anyone else has a check problem during the transition, please hit me up and we'll fix it immediately.
