I would venture to guess that it's been updated a few times in the past year.

Yes still around. Works great, lots of people using it. Obviously, the more partner accounts you have the better your results. And the better your galleries and content, the more listings.

Database *is* being worked on, the # of active sites has been slightly lower than usual but the more we review the more we realize that a good chunk of the pending sites are deadwood. So while others may brag about 2000 active sites or whatever, you should realize straight up that their database is way out-of-date. Since this 2257 sh*t hit the fan a sh*tload of tgps have closed down or become stale, using only fhgs now, so there's little if any reason in submitting to them. I'd rather have 900 active sites than 2000 site entries any day.

As to the non-updated "news" I do agree it could be updated more often. Then again, no news is good news ;) We're getting a new design soon anyway...

Gallerysubmitter is very active and definately worth the look.
The database is 100% up-to-date as it is automatically being checked daily.

last time i upgraded my acount for 1 month was last october, plus i noticed some database updates throughout the last couple of months, so its still active also with updates.
I like GS, beats the hell out of manual or semi manual submits.
