Windows XP: split screen for multitasking?

Is it possible to have 1/2 of my monitor to view webpages and the other half of it to work in dreamweaver, or in another program etc... allowing me to multitask without having to click tabs on the toolbar to switch between them?

Keep in mind, this is 1 monitor... Suggestions or solutions?

go here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx scroll down on the right and get Virtual Desktop manager. you can have up to 4 desktops on one screen. right click on your systray and select Toolbars - Desktop Manager.

very few people know about it, it's been out since winxp launched. there's a bunch of nice addons my fav is right click resizing of images

            Just get dual monitors.

I'm not saying this to be a dick, but really - two monitors are ideal for what you ask.
            Your post count means nothing.
