    SKYPE Users - Question

Is the quality decent enough to speak with people from Asia and Europe on a regular basis?

    thanks

I'm in Europe and I use it alot! I communicate with everyone around the world.
But I have noticed certain things can really make it suck.

          1) Bad internet connection. You have to use highspeed. Cable is best.
          2) Bandwidth usage. Shut down your Peer2Peer, Instant Messengers, etc.
          3) Your microphone. High quality one that is battery powerd with a physical wire connection.
          4) Don't fracking whisper and speak into the microphone.

          That about sums it up.

            Awesome input people thanks!

This may be a decent solution to my needs to call Asia and Europe on a regular basis.

It's worked for us but if I want to use Skype I've found that I have to shut ICQ down till I've finished the call.
