    hardlink trade script question

    on my tgp/mgp i am wanting to use linkxxxchange

    in the directions it says:
    "Include the Links on your Main Page:
    Your main page needs to end with .shtml or .php. The main page is where the trades will appear (mostly this is the index.php or index.shtml file).

    For .php files: Add this line where you want the links to show up:
    include("links.inc.php");

    For .shtml files: Add this line:
    <!--#include file="links.inc.php"-->"

    is there a way around having to use shtml or php, im using apscript and the homepage is html

        if they have no backlink, that means they havent added your link to their site yet

          Are they adding your link on their site first then adding their site to yours? If not it will give them that error.

            no their link is on there, for example see http://www.bustherhyman.com/

            then go to http://www.mofosex.com/addurl.php

            it says no backlink when there is one there

                  Yeah, I get the same errors and the admin login quit working. I have no idea wtf either. I have been looking for a different script.

                          I used the linkxxxchange script. It works okay and everything but I've noticed some webmasters abuse it! They add their site more than once with the one linkback they have one your site or sometimes they just take the link down. The script doesn't have a way to check and make sure that their link stays up. So you manually have to go through and make sure that you aren't linking twice to the same one site and also make sure they have your links up. It gets pretty hard to deal with after a while if you have a lot of link trades.

                          I finally had to take the addurl down because some webmasters were adding their sites over and over and plus it says on the instructions when submitting NO subdomains put on index only and then the form still allows trades with subdomains. I had a ton of subdomains trading with my index pages and that was another thing that irritated me about the script. I had to go through and delete all those too.

                          There has got to be a better script out there!

                            yes one that checks if they take it down would be good
