It comes down to customer support find a 3rd party processor who can handle your customer support and keep your credits and chargebacks down.

Join differant sites using each processor and see how easy they credit or charge you back. If there customer support is lacking move on to the next.

Give the surfers what they pay for and give them a good deal to join and stick around without the pressure to cancel.

All I know is Epoch has done a great job with us
Do your own research check out who all the large sponsors are using there is a reason for it.
And see who the best fit is for you.

We have left them once before and tried other processors.

Just keep a good relationship with people and don't burn your bridges. we realized that they were the best fit for us and they work with us.
They had no problem with us leaving and coming back.

I can't speak for them but I think they just have problems with webmasters bashing them then trying to come back.
We all encounter problems every now and then its a never ending battle

Same goes with everything else keep an open mind and work with the people you have a business relationship with you will go alot further.

Nobody really knows whats gonna happen just hold on tight and stick around people who are in it for the long run while the shake down unravels the same thing happend in audiotext.
