Is there a program like VirtualDub (free ) that can edit wmv files ???

virtuadub used to do wmv, if you search real hard maybe you can find the old version or a hack..

the old versions could do asf, don't know about wmv.

same thing,

if you have a program that only allows .asf files and you have .wmv's, just replace .wmv to .asf

the newer virtualdub versions won't do either though, sucks

I use Sony Vegas Video if I want to edit a wmv (not free though), or if you just want to cut one into smaller pieces I use www.boilsoft.com Splitter program, it's sweet.

like BV i use sony vegas now, its a great piece of software and they have a 30 day trial on the site at the moment

prior to version 1.3d, it could do ASF ... but NOT wmv ...
