Do any of you have experience running softcore sites? I mean stuff ranging from bikini, implied nudity like Maxim, and up to Playboy style nudes.

I have a guy who wants me to shoot this stuff for him, he actually has the models and they are way cute. But i really don't want to take a guy's money knowing he's going to fail.

Possible to make money running a softcore paysite? Are there webmasters out there would would promote a softcore paysite?

Softcore is basically a niche itself...I think if done and marketed properly, it could do well....but it would have to have more substance than just nudity (I would imagine). Perhaps coupled with articles and stuff (a la Maxim and Playboy).

Softcore works. Some people love it. The trick is for the emphasis to be on three things... the Art, the Personality, and the Tease. Pull that off, and you're in a golden niche.

Yeah I agree, you can sell ANYTHING if it is marketed well. I run a Maxim-style ethnic site www.atlantadymes.com and it sells well on the 5-8k of traffic it gets. Bikini and implied nudity. Good niche w/loyal customers and virtually no chargebacks, just trying to find more quality traffic for it.
