Unconditional love is a funny thing. Parents generally love their children unconditionally, unless some sort of mental imbalance precludes it.

For adults to love another adult unconditionally, it usually takes a mental imbalance to cause it.

I unconditionally love my family, and that includes my husband. I must REALLY love him he was unemployed for over 6 months (not by choice, of course) and he's been broke as hell. I don't really think that unconditional love exists. I think that under some conditions a parent will not love their child, making unconditional love a mere theory and not a rule of any type.

The key to unconditional love is that you don't need people to behave in a certain way for it to exist. This may sound cold but I think you'll agree...I told my spouse, my children are my flesh and blood and I WILL love them unconditionally...you on the other hand I'm just married too. You can love a spouse or be in love with them but it's not the same as Unconditional Love.

Unless they're your children or your parents then No I don't think that there is unconditional love.
