When you do netstat -a

I get all these weird connections. And it shows stuff like adultfriendfinder??

it shows incoming and OUTGOING connections

Well duh, i know that.

So err... close all your browsers, messengers, email clients, etc, and see if still get all the wierd stuff. then check for adware on your system

just remember that a program some programs, like statsremote for example can have ~+20 connections open.
So its very hard to know if there is something that shouldn't be there...
