Same here. I monitor their gateway with Nagios and this happens way too frequently for a mission critical service provider.

Good idea, we should add that into our nagios setup too. We noticed last year it seemed to be cutting out on us every once in a while but they've always said they were fine..

I'd like to add aside from this incident, netbilling has been great overall, probably one of the best processors in the biz!

We were not able to reach their gateway for a little bit last night but what you are saying is bullshit. The last time they had any downtime was about 7 months ago. We get constant sales from thm always.

For mission critical it would make sense to have your health checks switch your billing over to your backup processor automatically, so this sort of thing isnt really a problem. We've been doing something similar so we dont lose any money while netbilling is down or unreachable.

Just internet routes alone make any processor "not ready for mission critical use", you need to have some backups in place.

                Hey Frank,
What URL do you use to monitor Netbilling gateway? I'd like to set that up also. Thanks.

                  Hi,

We did experience a connectivity issue last night and it was resolved as quickly as possible.

                  Thank you, Mitch Farber
