    Desktop Problem.......

I've got some .psd files on my desktop but some of them have icons attached to them that are associated with other programs. What causes this?

It can happen if you've installed new programs recently and they associated .psd with it. If you didn't install anything, I'm not too sure. Anyway, If all of your .psd's start opening with something aside from PS, change which extensions belong to what program:

Open 'My computer' -> 'Tools' -> 'Folder Options' -> 'File types' -> scroll to the extension to change and set the right application.

My .psd files do open with PS but the .psd files on my desktop have different icons with them. Along with the one I just posted...I have another .psd file on my desktop that is using my recycle bin icon. That's some krazy shit
