These guys made a slower, less reliable computer but put it in a mac case. heheh

Oh man! I've wanted to get my hands on one of those G4 cases for a LONG time. I LOVE the case design. I think it's brilliant. No screws needed to open/close it. And in Red it looks AWESOME! I'm not a big fan of red as a color, but this is nice. I've wanted to do this mod for a long long time.

Surprised you know about [H]ardOCP as a site. It's a real techie site. Kyle is a nice guy too.

I have a few ideas for a casemod that, well, I'll do when I have the time/money to do it. I bought a big double server case and it's sitting, waiting for me to butcher it!

Heheh, the picture didn't come out good. We took it at a LAN party in spring. You can't really tell but the wolf is cut out and what you see if the metalic grain. I sanded the sace down to the metal, then with a fine sandpaper grain, made a nice finish. Coated that with clearcoat. Then put a decal of the Wolf that I wanted (My Nickname used to be Lonewolf) and painted a nice metallic Charcoal grey. It looks real nice up close. nice enough that a few guys at that LAN eventually copied the look for their case! heehe

Don't compare apples to oranges
For the cost of a dual GHZ mac I can get a similarly fast dual 2GHZ PC.. this is a single chip machine with a low 512MB ram.
You'll find once you take the price point as your guide the machines equalize out to about as fast as each other.

Wow, nice Mac. As much as I hated them in the past, with the new OSX, the things aren't too bad. The fact that it runs unix stuff is really cool. Anyone hear about the next Apple chips coming out that will run x86 stuff too? I think IBM is making them.
