My phone has been ringing all day today and I just went off on one of these fucking telemarketers.

you should call your local phone company and see if they have a feature named privacy manager. I have it on my line, and I have not had more than 3 calls from telemarketers this entire year. It rocks...

When they call you just tell them that the number they called is for your cell phone. They'll stop calling.

I have Privacy Plus, my phone rings a little different when someone like that calls, I just let it go to voice mail, 90% of the time, no one leaves a message

One time I picked up my phone on the 4th ring, and it was a telemarkter. The answering machine message went off just as the guy was going thru his song and dance, and as soon as the "beeep" went off, it automatically cut the phone call.

I guess that was the secret tone that kills telemarketers.
