    Microshit

Anyone ever notice in windows xp that microshit has disabled the function to print screen thumbnails from meadia player.

Any Ideas how to get thumbnails in XP would be abliged.

Movies are played on a direct-x layer and so wont capture with any screen capture

Easy to get around. You need something like

HyperSnap-DX 4 which youi can get at

      http://www.hyperionics.com
That will capture the Direct-X layer seperately

An even easier way to take screencaps of JUST THE MOVIE and no other window is to use Virtual Dub. Open the movie, forward to the frame in question, press CTRL 1 and then paste into a image program. You get a perfect copy of just that frame.

Oh yea -- VirtualDub is free

Open 2 movies, take a screenshot, 1 will show.
