Live and learn. I stopped speeding after my 24 over, 4 point ticket that was in the middle of no where.

I think speed limits should be enofroced 5+ over in normal populated areas, but i think they should be easier on poeple going 90 in a 70 that is in the middle of the country on a 10 lane interstate.

whenever asked do you know how fast your going, tell him the truth.
No will always get you a ticket..they like honesty....

I totally agree with this statement. I've learned tha hard way to make nice, honest, and show the cops you're intelligent and just in a hurry, and they'll always let you go with a warning. I'm not lying when I say I've had near 20 tickets in my life. Now I don't get anything. Then again, I don't live in USA anymore

Roads go from 80 to 60 for a reason.
They also know many people will slow down, and if not enough do they begin to show a presence and give tickets. Then people pay attention.
It is your fault because you broke the law, simple as that.

By the way the cop still is only doing his job. He did not change the speed limit on those signs. That is ussually done by the city planning agency or whatnot. Think the limit is stupid, take it up with them. People can get things changed if they are reasonable.
