I`ve tried some software I found using a google search (sorry can`t remember names)
and I really found that the best way is to grab a pen and paper the night before and write what you need to do the next day. Then while showering next morning just go over all of it in my mind.
It looks and feels nice when you finally have crossed out every task on your to-do list for that day...exgfmovies.com, exgfclips.com, datesx.com, gayboards.com and more!Comment

I don't know if this is even close to what you're looking for, but there's a plug-in for Konfabulator which keeps track of time spent on projects, for a billing summary type of perspective, and does some nifty reporting.
