back in 89 i said fuck everything & hitchhiked to california from boston.. took a few weeks to get there.. stayed for a few years & then went back....

Yep did it back in the early 80's left MB to move to BC
Stayed for a few years having no contact with anyone I knew from before.

Not sure if I would do it again but there is always a chance.

4 years ago or so I quit my day job and moved to Costa Rica. 4 of us moved here, so I didn't leave absolutely everything behind.

Interestingly enough it was this decission that allowed me to grow my Adult income to a large enough level to live on and eventually it grew to be much more than I ever earned in a day job.

Best decission of my life.
