    Ipod Question

For those Ipod users that use iTunes to manage your Ipod.

Say i took my ipod to a friends house and connected to his iTunes library and copied his songs onto my Ipod and took it home to connect to my computer.

When iTunes starts it shows me all the songs on my ipod but i cant copy them to my computer nor listen to them. They are shaded gray and cannot be clicked. It then prompts to connect my ipod to MY iTune library on this computer and to do so i have to delete all the old songs.

What can i do to keep my songs and add more.

you need to go onto your computer with the ipod connected and select in the ipod options to have your ipod stand alone and not sync with itunes

i forget where it is, but you can figure it out, just find ipod options in itunes
