    First John Denver died - then Denver Pyle and now Bob Denver. spooky!

          yes - he died of a broken heart actually - because people like you condemned him to a life as 'Gilligan' where the only work he could get was making appearances in his Gilligan costume at nostalgia shows. he was a great Shakespearian actor but one role cursed a potentially great acting career.
