Okay that's the question: does softcore sell? I was pretty skeptical but now I'm not so sure. We just opened a non-nude/semi-nude site and I'm pretty impressed with the conversion rate so far. We got a join on about the fifth visit after it went live. These pics are basically the raciest pics on the site:

I'm not so sure they even need to be ultra hotties. That's what we are trying for but I've been checking out a lot of the "soft" solo girl sites and some of them just ain't that hot. But they still have a bunch of guys drooling over them.

I think that the main factor with non-nude/super softcore is the retentions. If the model is active inside the members area then the members will sort of "bond" with her and keep paying to be her "friend". Plus honestly the softstuff is WAY more realistic. How many of the surfers would EVER be able to see some hot chick spread the pink? The non-nude/softcore girls are something that they "could" get.

I forgot to mention one thing. Shooting these girls is CHEAP. Less skin seems to equal more money in the producers pocket. Which means a smaller cost to operate which means bigger profit.

Softcore sells well!!! I have the proof!

I have operated http://www.dianajameson.com since 1996. My site has 50,000 pics in the members area with approx 10,000 hardcore and 40,000 softcore pics.

The members area uses copermine database software which monitors every time a picture is viewed. Quess what? In the top 100 most viewed pics only 4 are hardcore!!

You just have to make sure you get the right traffic and have a well designed site with regular updates.
